Hot Property Awards 2007 - Another Premier Success

Premier Properties won the silver accolade for its Heathlands, Chobham development in the Best Community Development category at the Hot Property Awards 2007.

The awards were presented by Shawn Luetchens, Managing Director of Hot Property, at a ceremony held at London's Cumberland Hotel in March and Premier Properties was one of just three developers recognised in the Best Community category.

Matthew Jelley, Sales and Marketing Manager, who accepted the award said: "We are delighted with the achievement of Heathlands; this award is a testament to our commitment to Community involvement in our development plans."

Heathlands was built on the site of a neglected and rundown youth centre which Premier Properties replaced with eight retirement cottages and brand new community centre for the local residents.

Joan Turner, who runs Jackanory, a nursery school for children aged 2 to 5 years, commented: "The new Community Centre is a lovely building; we use the main hall and a separate room for the younger children. We used to use the youth centre but although the new building has the same size main hall, it has windows we can see out of. It's light and airy and easy to keep clean."

Local County Councillor, Mrs Lavinia Sealy, said: "The team at Premier Properties were very good people to work with, they gave a lot of time and resources to the project and did a very commendable job. I was impressed by the company's flexible approach and its willingness to listen to the end users about their needs for the building."
