Premier Marathon Runners Hand Over Cash
Following their ‘runaway’ success in this year’s Flora London Marathon, the father and sons 3-man team from Camberley
based developers Premier Properties, handed over £3,000 to Gordon Parris for his charity Children With Special Needs
Foundation today (14th June).
“Our original target was £3,000, to be split between Children With Special Needs and Save The Children,” said managing
director Roger Jelley. “Our enthusiastic sponsors doubled this amount, which helped to spur us all on. It was an amazing
experience and definitely worth the effort to support these fantastic charities.”
After months of training, managing director Roger Jelley and his sons Joe and Matt completed the gruelling 26 miles run
in April in a commendable time of 4 and a half hours.
“People do all sorts of things to raise money for charity, but running the London Marathon must be one of the most
gruelling,” added Gordon Parris.
