A Long Term Relationship Sealed
A handshake with the Mayor sealed the continuation of a long established relationship between Surrey Heath’s Dial-a-Ride
service and local house builder, Premier Properties plc. The company’s sales and marketing manager, Matthew Jelley met the
Mayor, councillor Patricia Pearce, council officers and service users at the Ian Goodchild centre in Camberley, to view
the newly liveried vehicles that can be seen daily around the borough.
Premier has pledged to support the Dial-a-Ride service’s 7 vehicles for a further 5 years at a total cost of £15,000. All
the vehicles carry Premier Properties new logo and strapline – ‘building for a better lifestyle’. The vehicles undertake
36,000 passenger journeys a year, covering 80,000 miles in the process.
Leader of the council, councillor Moira Gibson, said, "Surrey Heath Borough Council welcomes the sponsorship from Premier
Properties and values its support for services that are vital to our community. Partnerships such as this one enable us to
develop and maintain strong relationships with local businesses within the borough, helping us to make the most of
opportunities available to us."
Premier Properties sales and marketing manager, Matthew Jelley, said, "The Dial-a-Ride service makes an important
contribution to many people's daily lives and Premier Properties is proud to play its part in helping to fund the service
through vehicle sponsorship."
Award winning house builder Premier Properties has been located in the borough for more than 25 years and has supported
the Dial-a-Ride service through vehicle sponsorship for many years.
